Role Purpose
We are looking for an
HR Cost Controller
to join our
Finance team
. The role will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling
personnel-related costs
, acting as a key link between Finance and HR to ensure cost efficiency, data accuracy, and strategic workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze
personnel costs
(headcount, salaries, bonuses, benefits, overtime, incentives)
Prepare periodic
HR cost reports
, forecasts, and variance analysis versus budget
Support the
budgeting and forecasting processes
related to workforce costs:
defining structure, timeline, deadlines and creating templates.
Budget and forecast analysis by brand: collecting input, performing detailed analysis and assessing impacts/scenarios.
Work closely with HR to ensure consistency between financial data and HR data
Ensure data accuracy and consistency in HR and Finance reporting systems
Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities related to personnel costs
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree in
Economics, Finance, Management, or related fields
3–5 years of experience in
controlling, cost controlling, or HR controlling
Strong knowledge of
financial and cost control principles
, with focus on personnel costs
Advanced Excel skills;
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Ability to work cross-functionally with HR and Finance stakeholders
Good communication skills and ability to translate data into insights
Fluency in
English
(written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
multinational or structured organizations
Knowledge of
labor cost structures
and HR metrics (FTE, cost per head, etc.)
Experience with
budgeting and forecasting tools
Work location
Milan.
Availability for trips in Italy and possibility to work remotly 1 day per week.
